The Aveo Labrador Proposal comprises a 16 level residential retirement building which provides a high quality Residential Retirement Facility located on the 2015m2 site.
The proposal’s form references the nautical culture of the Gold Coast to inform its articulation. The dramatic ‘sail-like’ forms which rise along Frank Street accentuate the modulated form of the building, creating a series of vertical forms which are read as a coherent group along the streetscape. The height and scale is reminiscent of existing and approved developments within the context of the site.
