Sanbano
Sanbano is a significant development for Coolangatta as it is the last remaining beach front site along the foreshore.
The tower itself is comprised principally of 1 per floor three bedroom units. The narrow site and the positioning of the core to the west provides for 360 degree views of not only the ocean but the Tweed River and the Gold Coast Hinterland. The building exhibits an overt plasticity which is an obvious reference to the motions of the waves, the movement of sand and the cooling breezes that embrace the building. It’s a poetic response that seeks to remind people of the dynamic nature of the location.
