DBI is looking for a dynamic and design-focused individual to join our expanding studio in Brisbane.
The successful candidate will possess experience in the following areas:
- With several ongoing and committed city-changing projects across Australia, DBI seeks a talented Urban Designer / Landscape Architect to join our expanding design team. Ideal candidates will have an interdisciplinary background with a strong specialisation in landscape architecture, urban design and master planning. Working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and being able to work on multiple projects simultaneously is a must.

Responsibilities
As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for the following:
- Provide design advice for development applications and planning proposals.
- Documentation and reporting of master planning outputs, including development of design guidelines.
- Evaluate development constraints, opportunities and potential for complex and constrained sites.
- Ensure designs comply with planning policies, zoning regulations, and environmental guidelines.
- Communicate and collaborate with clients, councils, and community members to incorporate feedback and requirements.
- Incorporate sustainable features into the design, such as green spaces, water-sensitive designs, and energy-efficient planning.

Your Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience in landscape architecture, urban design, and master planning, supported by a well-organized portfolio of representative projects.
- Experience creating master plans and design guidelines at various scales, public realm and open space design, podium and rooftop landscape design
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Proficiency in Revit, SketchUp, Rhino, Lumion or other 3D software.
- Excellent written, verbal, and graphic communication skills
